Student Code of Conduct & Terms and Conditions
The full course fee must be cleared before a batch is assigned. For one-time payments, the amount must be paid in full. For EMI options, loan approval and first disbursement must be completed before batch commencement. Students will not receive access to classes, portals, or academic resources until fee clearance.
Once a student selects a campus and makes any payment toward the program, the selected campus shall be considered final. Changing the campus in any form is strictly not permitted under any circumstances. If a student wishes to enroll at a different PenCap campus, they will be required to initiate a fresh admission process and pay the applicable program fees in full.
All students are required to maintain a minimum of 80% attendance across the academic journey. Failure to meet this requirement will result in disqualification from proceeding further for certification or internships, and from participating in any Career Enhancement Cell (CEC) activities, which includes the internship and placement assistance.
The field of technology evolves rapidly with the continuous emergence of new skills, tools, and techniques. To maintain academic relevance and industry alignment, PenCap® reserves the right to modify, update, or revise the course curriculum at any time without prior notice.
Batch assignments are based on faculty availability, infrastructure, and academic needs. Students have no option to select or change the assigned batch timing, mode, or location. PenCap reserves the full right to revise batch schedules, delivery mode, or location throughout the course duration.
The Capstone Project is a mandatory academic component and includes orientation, topic selection, project submission, live presentation, and final evaluation and approval by a PenCap®-empanelled trainer. No student shall be considered eligible for internship allocation, certificate issuance, or placement assistance without successfully completing all stages of the Capstone Project in accordance with the academic timelines and quality standards defined by PenCap®.
Students enrolled in the Diploma and Master Diploma programs are entitled to academic classroom training along with a structured internship component, comprising a 2-month internship and a 4-month On-the-Job Training (OJT), respectively. These engagements are designed to provide online, project-based industry exposure through select companies.
Important: All internships and OJTs are unpaid, online, and form an integral part of the academic curriculum, aimed at providing practical exposure and real-world learning rather than financial compensation.
Companies are allotted based on their availability, interest, and project requirements at the time of batch readiness. Students cannot choose, reject, or request a change in the assigned company/project.
PenCap® provides 100% Placement Assistance to eligible students by facilitating the completion of academic training, execution of industry-aligned capstone projects, resume building, interview preparation, aptitude training, personality development, and access to job and internship opportunities through its Career Enhancement Cell (CEC).
However: PenCap® does not offer or imply any job guarantee, minimum salary assurance, or commitment of placement within a specific timeline. The term '100% Placement Assistance' refers solely to support, guidance, and facilitation, and shall not be construed as an assurance of employment.
Interview scheduling is entirely dependent on the hiring company's timelines, screening processes, and response to student applications. PenCap® cannot guarantee that interviews will be scheduled for every application submitted.
In order to be eligible for 100% Placement Assistance, ALL of the below conditions must be met:
At the end of their academic tenure, students will be awarded a Dual Certificate corresponding to their enrolled program — Certification, Diploma, or Master Diploma. Certification will only be awarded upon successful completion of all academic components, including Capstone Project orientation, topic selection, timely submission, live presentation, evaluation, and final approval.
Diploma and Master Diploma Certificates will be awarded only after the student successfully completes their full internship tenure and the internship company issues an official experience letter confirming the same.
Once a student selects and enrolls in a particular program (Certification, Diploma, or Master Diploma), downgrading to a lower program is not permitted under any circumstances. Students who wish to upgrade to a higher-level program may do so only before their allotted batch reaches the Capstone Project phase.
If approved, the student is required to pay: (a) the fee difference between the enrolled and upgraded programs, and (b) a non-refundable program upgradation fee of ₹20,000.
All students are required to maintain confidentiality of all sessions and course materials provided. Any breach of confidentiality will be severely dealt with and will result in legal consequences.
Immorality, grave insubordination, contempt of authority, rude behaviour towards PenCap staff will result in immediate dismissal and debarment.
Students are expected to bring and maintain their own IT systems (hardware, software, licenses, etc) for the sessions. PenCap will not be held responsible for any loss, theft or damage to students' property and belongings.
In cases where the student opts to pay course fees through an EMI facility offered by a PenCap®-authorized financing partner, it is mandatory for the student to complete all EMI payments in full and on time, even after the course completion and issuance of certification.
Important: If the student defaults on any EMI payment, PenCap® reserves the right to revoke the issued certification without prior notice and initiate legal proceedings.
By enrolling with PenCap®, the student grants default consent to THE INSTITUTE to capture, use, publish, and disseminate photographs, video recordings, testimonials, or other likenesses of the student taken during classes, events, or any other academic/official activities conducted under PenCap®. Such material may be used for academic, promotional, informational, and marketing purposes across print, digital, and social media platforms, without any compensation to the student.
All students are expected to maintain decorum during training programs. Failure to comply with the rules or any instance of indiscipline will result in their admissions getting terminated immediately without notice.
The INSTITUTE reserves the right to require a student's withdrawal including immediate withdrawal from a program for a serious or aggravated disciplinary or behavioural matter. In such cases, no refund of tuition fee or deposit will be made.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the institute is located. Any dispute arising under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
The institute reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
